Search Form & more

Next I'll show you how to make Text Links on your web site that link to Amazon search results, integrated into your site.

(Note: You might have already figured out that you can use the Predefined Searches that we showed you in Demo 1 to create lots of different pages, each containing different products, which you could link to. Yes you can do that - but in this example, we'll demonstrate how you can achieve a similar effect, but using only 1 results page).

For this example, I've placed both the Text Links and the Search Results on the same page of my site. However, when you do this on your site, you can place the Text Links on any page of your site.

Try one of these links to see the page update:
(as there is quite a lot of text on this page, you might need to scroll down to see the part which is updating).
Here's the HTML code for each of the Text Links on this page.
Here's the PHP code that goes in the search results page:

As with the previous example, for this example, there isn't a JavaScript equivalent for the results page. The reason is that while you can place the Text Links on any kind of page, including (.html, .shtml, .asp, etc.) just by inserting the link HTML code, the search results page must be a PHP page.
